Using pictures and drawings, Roy Milwid will explain how to build wood and solar hot water systems, solar electric, and passive solar heating. He will talk about the advantages and difficulties of living off the grid in his informal talk, which is open to any questions you might have.
About Roy Milwid
Roy Milwid studied physics at Stanford University in the mid-1960's. In the
early 1970's, he lived deep in the mountains of B.C. before moving to a community
where he looked after the electrical system for 100 households. He uses much
of his time and varied skills volunteering, helping maintain and build meditation
centers.
