Éric Ferland, President
Éric Ferland is a City Councillor for the municipality of Frelighsburg.
He is a former president of the Green Party of Quebec, has organized the
Festiv'Art in Frelighsburg (24,000 visitors in two days), as well as the
art exhibit for Pierre Gauvreau and Janine Carreau at the Centre d'Art
de Frelighsburg. During his term as a Frelighsburg municipal councillor,
he successfully promoted measures related to recycling, forest management
and the integrated management of local architecture. He is a founding member of the Amis de la terre de Brome-Missisquoi (the local chapter of Friends of the Earth) and the Marché de solidarité régionale de Cowansville (www.marchecowansville.org). Eric was named an ECO ALL STAR by Harrowsmith Country Life Magazine in 2008, a magazine on country living.

Conseil, she has been actively involved in environmental issues for
a dozen years, most notably with the Mount
Pinnacle Land Trust, Appalachian Corridor
(ACA), Nature Québec / UQCN and Nature Conservancy of Canada
- Quebec. Also a therapist, she teaches the ancient art of Qigong, which
favors overall health and vitality through energy exercises.
