MARKETING PLAN

  • 80,000 8-page colour programs printed on 100% recyclable paper and inserted in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.
  • 45,000 8-page colour programs printed on 100% recyclable paper and inserted distributed in Le Droit newspaper, reaching 113,000 people (48,000 in the Ottawa area).
  • 2,000 programs distributed during the event.
  • 1,000 18" x 24" colour posters strategically located in the Ottawa and Gatineau area, reaching over 850,000 people.
  • 3- 4' x 30' banners set up in Ottawa one month prior to the event, reaching over 550,000 potential visitors.
  • 2- 4' x 8' billboards installed near the museum, reminding the dates of the event.
  • Our website will also showcase our sponsors and benefactors. The website has already had 15,000 hits.
  • A 400-square-feet display will be reserved for the Government of Ontario at the fair and located right at the entrance.
  • Additional promotional tools include:
  • 35,000 3 ¾" x 8 ½" full-colour bookmarks will be handed out at the Ottawa Public Library and in specialized stores.
  • Press release sent to the media.
  • 50 pennants strategically located throughout the area showing the way to the fair.
