International, national and local food sovereignty movements are gaining momentum around the world and here in Ottawa. Food Sovereignty is about putting control of food back in people's hands and bellies. This lively, interactive workshop will bring out the dynamics and politics of food, calling on each of us to think harder and act deeper to promote food justice. These are even more timely issues considering new climate change realities and agreements that will be negotiated in the fall of 2009.
